Professor Mehmet Genç was born in Adana in 1949, graduated from Ruhr
University Faculty of Law, completed his Master of Law degree (LL.M.)
and Ph.D. in Heidelberg University Faculty of Political Sciences. He
worked as an assistant/Dr. in Heidelberg University between
1977-1983. From 1984 he is a member of academic staff in the
department of International Relations in Uludag University Faculty
of Economics & Administration and vice-chancellor from 2000 in
Uludag University. Being a member of Special Committee of
Harmonization of Turkish Law with European Community Law, he is
specialized on European Community Law/European Union Law,
International Law and International Human Rights Law.
